For those of you who took the time to share your thoughts and opinions -- thank you! I truly believe the Lord used you to give me peace and comfort about the decision I made -- and I feel comfortable.

I left it in the Lord's hands -- if I get a loan and can purchase the vehicle for a fair amount -- then that is the one I'll buy. If not, I will go for one of the other two vehicles that were put in the path. The Lord opened the doors ... and I basically slid through ... so I feel that He is in control. We are in the process of purchasing a 2005 Rav4 with 34,000 miles on it in Portland. It will be shipped up on Samson Tug and Barge -- who quoted the best price.

I leave on Saturday for a week long training in Scottsdale, Arizona with the Healthy Native Communities Fellowship program. I am very excited about it! We will learn how to be change agents and how to train others in our communities. It won't, of course, hurt that it is in the high 70's right now. I also feel that the Lord is putting the right people into my life to make things happen. Who knew? Well, He did. So I may actually have a youth group that I can tap to do a lot of the legwork. In exchange they will learn how to do graphic design, layout books, videography, write, photograph, and learn traditional skills from elders. Doesn't that just sound exciting???

As for the splurge food on snacks? It didn’t taste too good because when we eat healthy most of the time it really does taste like “Junk Food.” I think I would have preferred some fresh Alaskan Salmon, Alaskan King Crab, and probably better off with a completely homemade Caesar Salad. I’m glad you told me that about whole fruit and vegetables. My daughter made me a glass of carrot juice the other day when I stopped over at her place. Geesh! She mothers me sometimes. I know she is just looking out for her daddy ( me) to live a long healthy life. Yes, Scottsdale is a nice area. Glad you were able to get out of the cold. What is your car decision? There are some excellent buys these days. Even for a new car. I would suggest a new car for you. No more car headaches because you provide the maintenance from the get go. For instance, my 2002 Tahoe now has 111,000 miles but runs like new because I have kept everything well maintained. My Corvette that I bought a few years ago ended up being nothing but a headache. That’s why I got rid of it this past summer and bought myself a new Malibu. Besides I am not really into that kind of attention. I just always wanted a Corvette and now I have that splurge out of my system. The only thing I really desire is to have my own log cabin some day. Well Ms. Nae…It looks like I rambled a bit.
